Dear Friends,
Well, our 2020-21 Season ended last month but there is still much going on.
— You should be receiving subscription information for the 2021-22 Season in the mail soon. There will be details about the concerts, a subscription form and a return envelope. Our 2021-22 Season programs will be presented in-person and a streaming option will be offered.
— You can mail in your order…. OR….. you can subscribe on-line by visiting our website. With consideration for everyone’s safety and comfort, for this season all concerts will be performed in the Sheldon Concert Hall. That allows for socially distanced seating and a larger stage for the musicians. For those that wish to sit together at the concerts, and have made previous arrangements with your parties, please send us an email with specifics. Streamed concert passes will be offered for those who do not wish to attend live performances.
— Our partnership with Classic 107.3 – The Chamber At Home-resumes this Thursday June 17. There will be 12 weekly programs of encore performances, which can be heard Thursday evenings at 6 PM with a re-broadcast on Monday mornings at 10 AM.
— St. Louis born pianist Brian Woods will be appearing with CMSSL in November. You can catch Brian this summer performing at the World Chess Hall of Fame on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 7 PM CDT.
There are a number of things in the works so stay tuned (couldn’t resist the radio jargon) for more announcements.
Until then,
Marc

The concert was just thrilling. Loved the pianist. Adored the Dvorak. Happy to see Leonard in such an intimate setting. Terrific evening! Thanks.
We deeply appreciate Chamber Music Society and the exquisite music they perform. Thank you for all the lovely music you have brought us over the years. We look forward to many more.
We are grateful to your beautiful, awe-inspiring CMSSL in our lives. As threadbare as our nation has become in so many ways, it is the regenerative power of music ant the arts that enthuses me. Keep on weaving! Thank you.
These concerts have been even better than I imagined. My hat off to your engineer- the sound quality exceeded that of most CDs I own of this repertoire. I also applaud Peter Henderson for tackling the Liszt this week. Thank you all so much for bringing so much light in these trying times.
Many thanks… for a very professionally presented performance of endearing music with the very best musicians.
Last night’s performance was, as usual, wonderful. We are looking forward to the next Chamber concert.
I just wanted to express to you and the board what an exceptional job you each have done during these very trying times. I regularly attend many venues during the course of the year. The Chamber Music Society has by far created the best experience.
CMSSL has been doing all it can in the way of creative, highly successful efforts to compensate for the agony of 2020. That’s been very much appreciated.
Thank you for a fantastic evening.
I really enjoyed the concert Monday. Nice camera work and sound.
