There were a lot of moving parts to pull this off and we are grateful to all those who supported the effort: The City of Clayton, Ariel Premium Supply, Enterprise Bank and Trust, Bond Architects, Classic 107.3 and Steinway Piano Gallery. We also thank the musicians and Maestro Slatkin for their patience and flexibility to navigate all the changes that the weather imposed. If you attended this concert, we would love to hear your thoughts on the event. Feel free to email your comments to us at info@chambermusicstl.org.
The last special event for The Chamber before we start in to the 2021-22 Season in October is AN EVENING WITH LEONARD SLATKIN Monday September 13, 2021. Our collaboration with the St. Louis County Library Foundation offers an opportunity to participate in a discussion with Maestro Leonard Slatkin and John Clare of Classic 107.3. They will be discussing Leonard Slatkin’s latest book Classical Crossroads: The Path Forward for Music in the 21st Century. CMSSL musicians will be there as well to perform. CLICK HERE FOR INFO.

The most interesting, and provocative ensemble in town is the Chamber Music Society of St. Louis.
The concert was just thrilling. Loved the pianist. Adored the Dvorak. Happy to see Leonard in such an intimate setting. Terrific evening! Thanks.
CMSSL has been doing all it can in the way of creative, highly successful efforts to compensate for the agony of 2020. That’s been very much appreciated.
Thank you for a fantastic evening.
Keep up the great work with the Chamber!!! A real gift.
I am reluctant to comment on this St. Louis gem for fear that too many others will discover it and I will struggle to get tickets. I mean, why would anyone in their right mind want to sit at a table with friends, drinking a glass of wine, while the finest chamber musicians in the city play breathtaking music fifteen feet away? Stay at home and watch Survivor, Part VI so that I may continue to keep this little musical shangri-la for myself.
It’s the music! It’s the venue! But wait: it’s also my tablemates!! Can you imagine…… organizes the programs and performers, but also devises a seating chart? I can’t imagine having 2 more compatible listening companions than the ones I’ve met…..! Thank you, CMSSL, for inspiring concerts, and thank you, ………, for just plain fun! Barbara, Ladue
This is the way chamber music was meant to be heard!
These concerts have been even better than I imagined. My hat off to your engineer- the sound quality exceeded that of most CDs I own of this repertoire. I also applaud Peter Henderson for tackling the Liszt this week. Thank you all so much for bringing so much light in these trying times.
I just wanted to express to you and the board what an exceptional job you each have done during these very trying times. I regularly attend many venues during the course of the year. The Chamber Music Society has by far created the best experience.
