Ryan Sims was referred to CMSSL by St. Louis’s Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts. He originally served on the CMSSL Advisory Board and was elected to the Executive Board as Chairman of the Finance Committee after his diligent work to help CMSSL transition from manual budgeting and financial tracking to a more sophisticated oversight and records-keeping. Formerly a Certified Public Accountant in the Assurance Services Group at Rubin Brown LLP in St. Louis, he joined US Bank in their community development office and was recently promoted to ?Assistant Controller at U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation. Ryan has also gained international accounting experience through his participation in the Baker Tilly Secondment Program to Auckland New Zealand. Ryan graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with his bachelor and master’s degrees in Accountancy.
Ryan is a avid hockey fan and enjoys listening to all varieties of music, running, golfing, and being outdoors. Ryan was married last October to Tara Osseck.
